Repainting the Fort in the backyard

The fort/play structure has been up for a couple of years now, and is getting a bit weatherbeaten. So we decided to paint it. First, we need a coat of primer, so Sam and Nicki put on sacrificial t-shirts, grab the paint brushes, and go to it, after Jim sprayed the primer on the top part. The kids get started. Why not start with the door posts and the easy stuff first?

Sam picked the shady side to paint.

Nicole is also quite a painter.

You've got to paint the inside too!

Come back again to see what happens next! Maybe walls up top? Maybe a roof structure for a canopy? Who knows what color it will eventually be painted?
